Information you provide: When you purchase VocalAI through Gumroad, Gumroad collects your email address and payment information. We receive only your email address to deliver your purchase confirmation and unlock key.
Text you submit: When you generate a voiceover, the text you enter is sent to our API to process your request. We do not store or retain this text after processing.
Usage data: We collect aggregated usage analytics including page views, device type, browser, and country via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics. This data is not intended to directly identify you personally.
Local storage: Generation history is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the following service providers who help us operate VocalAI:
VocalAI uses minimal cookies and browser storage to operate the service — including session storage for your unlock status and localStorage for generation history. Google Analytics may set cookies for analytics purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function correctly.
We do not store your voiceover scripts or generated audio on our servers. Generation history is stored only in your browser's localStorage and can be cleared by you at any time. Purchase records are retained by Gumroad in accordance with their data retention policies.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. VocalAI is served over HTTPS and we do not store sensitive payment information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
VocalAI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
